Beaches
Geographically located on a peninsula, Stobreč is known for its diverse beaches.
In the very centre of the town is the town’s most famous and most visited beach. With shallow water and soft sand, it’s ideal for families with small children. Along the beach are numerous cafés, restaurants and shops, so you can enjoy sunbathing as well as various aquatic activities.
The southwestern part of Stobreč has rocky beaches with fewer visitors, providing more privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. The sea is clear and ideal for swimming, with natural flat stone slabs to sunbathe and enjoy the peace, quiet and natural shade of surrounding pine trees.
The eastern part of Stobreč, along the Žrnovnica River, also has a small pebble beach suitable for families with children, with calm and shallow water. Surrounded by greenery, it’s great for quiet moments relaxing by the sea, away from the crowds.
Between the town’s central main sandy beach and the pebble beach at the mouth of the Žrnovnica River, is Stobreč campsite with its own landscaped beach. Here you will find additional facilities such as sports fields and rental of aquatic sports equipment.
Crystal clear sea, stunning views of nearby islands and proximity to Split make Stobreč beaches a popular destination, both for locals and tourists.
